Loved You All Along

When I first started drawing Reggie and Mimi, I NEVER intended to have these two together. At all. I meant for them to stay background characters, that hate each other.

You guys got me into this XD At first I did not get it, or agree with it. I never understood or liked any couples/characters that like/love each other, but hate each other all at the same time in shows or anything. Developing Reggie and Mimi's character helped me understand, and made me like the idea. I now understand relationships between love/hate characters <3

Reggie at the beginning, hated Mimi, as an Elgyem, until he evolved into Beheeyem and kissed her for the first time. He was too busy following his lustful behavior to understand the meaning of lust and love. He was too focused on flirting with other females, until he slowly learned. After a while he had a secret crush on Mimi, but couldn't say anything about it, since it's be awkward to love someone you despise. He could only settle for flirting, and secret flings with her when nobody was around/looking. When he finally realized that he loved Mimi, it was "too late" but he got his chance when she was on Psybemu with the rest of the team.

As for Mimi, she hated Reggie's egotistical behavior, but secretly she was thankful that he was one of the first patients that survived under her care. After a while, she felt left out when Jade and Kiki became close friends with one another, and sought comfort with Reggie, then they saw each other in a better light. Her crush on Reggie, developed slower then Reggie's crush on her. After their belligerent history together, she couldn't admit anything to him or anyone.

After page 102 of "An Alien's Choice" I still question about how this relationship is gonna go. I have a few ideas, but the first thing that they're gonna do is deny, and to whomever asks, they'll just stay silent, and try to change the subject. Eventually they'll admit it... with hesitation.

So thank you fans, for getting me to love these two (and love/hate couples)... and finally getting these two together.
