Chapter 15

A Day With The Gang


625 began to stir around in his sleep. Something was bothering him. With closed eyelids he could see a variety of colored blankness. Orange, yellows, and reds glowed brightly and moved around when he moved his eyes. The brightness bothered him and his eyes. He opened them and saw different flashing colors before his eyes before flinching them. He closed his eyes in order for them to adjust them too see normally.

After his vision cleared up he looked at the clock above the monitor. The clock flashed a bright neon blue that read 10:00 am. He suddenly remembered that he was supposed to meet up with Scrap and the gang around lunchtime. He rubbed his eyes and hopped off of his chair. After taking a few steps away from his seat he heard soft snoring from Moody who was curled up beside the armrest.

He tiptoed quietly towards her and saw her body curled up; which resembled a soft white patch of snow. Her fluffy fur made her looked soft to the touch. 625 was tempted to hug her right then and there; but that would interrupt her sleep, and then he remembered last night...

The argument they had and the way he shrugged her off. He was guessing that she was angry at him. He sighed in frustration, and he didn't want her to worry about him while he was gone.

Looking at the counter in the kitchen he saw a pad of paper and wrote a brief note on it. While he pulled out the sticky note onto his hand; he slipped it underneath the sleeping fluffy experiments' fingers; the sticky part stuck on her hands.

625's face feel for a few second before wandering off towards the door outside and he began walking outside.

Meanwhile...

Scrap stood outside of a quaint restaurant. The bushes isolated the tables and chairs from the view of the calm beach that was nearby. The orange experiment tapped his foot impatiently on the ground; his arms crossed against his chest.

'' Scrap just take a seat'', sighed a green stitch look alike experiment.

This experiment looked a lot like Stitch; but his fur was a grass green. The two spots on his back were colored a teal blue, while the fur around his belly and eye patches were tinted a bright light green. In his head he had two pointed antennae, making him look devilish to the eye. He was well known as Dargin. His playful content face was now annoyed.

The constant bicker and whining from the orange taco-obsessed creature was irritating him.

'' But 625 said he'd come!'', whined Scrap.

'' If he doesn't come that means he must've been busy.''

'' But he said for sure that he'd some!''

Dargin couldn't help but sigh.

'' Also I need to tell him something...'', Scrap said; with a playful smirk upon his face.

'' If it has anything to do with taco's; then I'm not interested.''

'' That's not what I saw...''

'' Then what did you see?''

'' Well you know that female experiment he hangs around with?''

'' Moody? Yeah... and?''

'' I saw...''

'' Hey look! I guess 625 did make it after all!"

Scrap looked over his shoulder to see 625. His head faced down towards the ground while he walked up to the other two experiments before taking a seat.

'' Awww and I was about to tell... '', Scrap muttered under his breath.

'' Hi guys!'', 625 said; before resting his head against his arms.

'' You look tired. Rough night? Did you spend the night making sandwiches again?'', Dargin asked, as he rested his arms against his lap.

'' Yeah a rough night. Not a very good one neither'', 625 replied with a yawn.

'' Also I have a question for you 625'', Scrap asked, while he sat beside 625.

625 didn't feel comfortable at all while Scrap had a smug grin upon his face,'' What is it?''

'' Well I saw you with Moody in the front of the ship last night!''

625's eyed immediately popped open,'' WHAT!?''

'' Yeah, and she was singing and you were playing the oxagone!''

'' It's called a saxophone!''

'' But that's not what I wanted to ask, I saw you two, and I was thinking 'Hey those two make a really good couple' don't ya think 625?''

625's tired face turned into a slight frown of embarrassment; but with a hint of anger hidden in his eyes,'' No. I'm not in love with anyone.''

'' You said you were sick last night, but you were sick... you were lovesick!''

'' I said to shut up!''

'' Aww, 625 and Moody sitting in a tree k-i-s-s-i-n-g!'', Scrap playfully sung.

625 slouched down upon his seat, as his face began to flush a bright pink, while Scrap began to laugh hysterically. Dargin nodded his head in shame at Scraps' immaturity.

'' Scrap, you make me wanna smack you'', Dargin blurted.

'' Same here'', 625 agreed.

'' But Dargin are you blind? 625 needs help!''

625 lifted one eyebrow in confusion,'' Uh no I don't.''

'' Why not?''

'' Cause I got into an argument with her.''

Dargin's jaw dropped a bit before drooping his ears down in sorrow. Scrap frowned as he felt ashamed for taunting the sandwich maker. His ears drooped down upon his shoulders, as he looked down upon 625.

'' Aww I'm sorry. What happened?''

'' It's rather personal. I'd rather not say.''

Scrap interrupted,'' Aww did you tell your crush on Moody and she rejected you?''

'' No, no, and I don't have a crush'', the sandwich maker denied.

'' Scrap, you're going a bit too far. Love is a powerful emotion'', Dargin spoke.

'' I really don't see your point.''

'' Well when your in love, you'll understand. So far 625 needs help for his relationship.''

'' Uh, I was never in a relationship to begin with.''

'' I always thought you'd two make a good couple.''

625 rolled his eyes at that remark.

'' No matter how much you deny it; I know you have feelings for her.''

'' No I don't.''

'' Come on; I know you two are very inseparable.''

'' I just want her friendship back, I didn't mean to snap at her like that.''

'' Hmm, since you know her very well; what kind of things make her happy?''

'' Well her fruit punch soda is her all time favorite drink, and she loves my grilled cheese and bacon sandwiches.''

'' Well, we should both walk around the island for a while and help you.''

'' I really don't think that it's such a good idea.''

'' I think it's a good one, come on!''

625 groaned as he got up onto his feet and Dargin began to walk away. Before they could move further they were stopped by a familiar voice. The taco obsessed experiment stood in front of them.

'' What is it?'' Dargin sighed.

'' Hey Xeuk's getting the food, aren't we gonna get to eat the tacos? I don't wanna be here by my lonesome self.''

'' Well you could come along.''

'' Yay!''

625 frowned; with the taco lover experiment's teasing about his secret he was sure that he wasn't gonna like this. Scrap trotted from behind the two while they walked away from the restaurant and down the sidewalk.

While the three left a grayish colored experiment came out from the door of the building holding four food trays full of taco related food. His two antennae rose from the top of his head like sparky's but on the tips of them were frilled with fur. On his back he had lavender colored zigzags that went down his back patterned along with the spikes that he had on him. His belly was a dark berry pink, while his tail was a long foot length and the tip of his tail was frilled. He was well know by the name of Xeuk.

'' I've got the food!'', The experiment said.

While he stood outside holding the trays he saw that nobody was there. No Dargin, no Scrap, no 625. He sighed while he looked at his cheese covered nachos sitting upon his trey while he shrugged.

'' At least I get to eat all of their nacho's while they're gone!'', he spoke cheerfully.

He set the trays down upon a nearby table under a large parasol and began munching happily on the food, and sipping his soda after swallowing. he began to wonder where they went off to, but he agreed to himself that he'd find them after eating lunch.
