As an Elgyem, he spent his first years being raised by his parents, before going for training on his home planet. His parents were high ranking aliens from training school. His ancestry was that his family at first were low ranking aliens, specifically his grandmother.

Sneaking into a mission, Reggie's grandmother landed in the Kanto region and fell in love with an Alakazam, and mated. They had a son (Reggie's father) that had pretty rare moves inherited (Shadow ball, and Teleport). During training, Reggie's father (numbered 1245) underwent training, and would visit Earth at different times to meet up with his father. 1245 ended up having feelings/emotions unlike the other Elgyems and Beheeyems. At the training academy,1245 had affections for Reggie's mother (Numbered 1732) who carried a rare ability called Analytic. Like 1245, she has emotions like him, but her bloodline involved careful breeding after one of her ancestors bred with a Hypno from the Kanto region. After graduating from the academy, 1245's extra work and perseverance paid off, when by chance (and luck) his assigned mate was 1732.

Reggie's parents were very affectionate and caring, however they had several failed breeding attempts due to stress. After they got settled in, they successfully had one egg, which hatched Reggie (Numbered 3142) who had the moves Shadow Ball, Psychic, and Teleport inherited from his father, and from his mother the rare ability Analytic. Reggie often came along on the missions with his parents, and learned from their observations. Reggie's father was known for his ego, but shows cowardice around his weaknesses, as his mother was calm, stubborn, and tactical.

When it came the time for Reggie to go to the academy, he was of the high ranking class, because of his rare moves and ability. Reggie was rather aggressive, assertive, reckless, and egotistical. He also have caught the attention of his planets leaders, to have the potential to be a future leader. Reggie underwent special training for years, and graduated. During that time he's has several run in's with 2048, a rare shiny female Elgyem, who was known as the "planets gem" and was the envy of male training-mates. By the time he graduated, his assigned mate was 2048, which caused his ego to swell.

Reggie settled in with life with his new mate, they did get along well, however 2048 was annoyed by his ego. She'd often shoot him down, to deflate it. She also has no desire to have any offspring of her own, as Reggie has a strong desire to have his own offspring. They've mated several times, but didn't have any eggs due to Reggie's infertility.

One day, Reggie and 2048 were arriving from a mission and he had to use the restroom. When he went there he ran into his old rival 2111, who ganged up on Reggie with his friends from the military, and managed to get Reggie framed for destroying their homeland. 423 saw the destruction and sentenced Reggie a lifetime exile in the Unova region.

Reggie was unable to fend for himself in an unfamiliar planet, and after several days of wandering around and hiding from people, he fell ill. He quickly lost weight, as he was unfamiliar with the food and resources on Earth. While fighting for food, he found himself surrounded by a pride of Liepards. He quickly lost the battle.

He was skinny and had a terrible fever from an infection that he had on his back from those liepards. He collapsed on the grass in the middle of a park in broad daylight. Along the way a trainer named Manny and his Audino named Mimi, picked him up off the ground and took him to a nearby hospital, where Reggie's chances of survival were low. Reggie was a fighter and fought against the odds while Manny nursed him back to health.

While at the hospital, Reggie caused a lot of mischief and set off the fire alarm twice. Mimi would often have to anesthetize him with a needle, and when Reggie didn't obey, she'd use shadow ball against him. Manny often fed the little alien with his homemade pokemon food, which he enjoyed and never touched the hospital food. When Reggie was feeling better, Manny took him in, and "caught" him with a luxury ball (Reggie willingly went in). He was named Reginald, but was often called "Reggie."

Reggie was reckless at his new home, and was very picky eater, as Manny could not convince him to eat Earth food. He is also severely underweight because of his finicky behavior.  Reggie would willingly eat his homemade pokemon food, any sort of fruits (except grapefruit), vegetables, cookies, cakes, macarons, various seeds and nuts, Some breads, limited variations of meat (jerky, bacon, and sausage to name a few), and some snacks. Because of Reggie's nature, he will not touch anything sour, and will spit it out. He enjoys drinking soda, tea, and various juices. Reggie has a sensitive stomach and will avoid anything that will make him vomit. (He won't touch chili for this reason.)

One day he was left home alone with Jade the Servine who was sick. As she rested, Reggie ran amok thought the house, eating all his favorite foods, and trashing the place. He ended up with an upset stomach and vomiting in various places from overeating, before manny and mimi came home. When they arrived, they found him laying on the floor, holding his stomach. Manny's mother came into the room and saw the mess, talking to Manny saying that the alien should be released or go with him to work everyday since she can't trust him home alone because of his reckless behavior. Reggie ended up going to work with them.

After one enduring battle, Reggie evolved into Beheeyem, earlier then what he was expecting. He also became taller then the average beheeyem. (average size is 3 foot 3 in. Reggie is 4 foot, 3 inches.) A while after evolution, Reggie slowly started to lose his reckless behavior, as the luxury ball was taking affect, and began to be more friendlier.

When Reggie was on Earth, he'd have occasional bouts of homesickness. When he does feel homesick, he sits and stares out into space, deep into his thoughts. He'd be so distracted that he wouldn't notice anybody calling his name. He would even seclude himself from the rest of his team and trainer, and just lay down or spend the whole day in his room sulking. He wouldn't even argue with Mimi over anything.

Reggie spent his life on Earth for the next five years after his exile, until his then-mate 2048 found him, to inform him that his exile has been lifted. Reggie talked to the Superior 423 over hologram and he learns that he could return to Psybemu, though he'd have to leave Earth within a week. After being released, Reggie went back to Psybemu, and met up with his parents. It appears that his parents overcame their infertility problem as he has a brother and a sister, 7890 and 7891. Shortly, during his time on Psybemu, Reggie became homesick. He learns that he misses Earth and his team mates. Along the way he also discovers that his mate 2048 got reassigned to another male. Out of anger, Reggie battled 2048, but lost to her. Humiliated, he went back to his room. 2111 happened to kidnap Reggie's team, and bring them to Psybemu. They escape and Reggie's father finds them. They meet up with Reggie when he decides to visit his parents. Later on, 2111 frames Reggie to challenge him to a battle, and Mimi joins him. They both lose the battle to 2111 and his mate 3611. 423 takes over and announces the crimes that 2111 has committed, and has him exiled to the Unova region. With her status as Superior reclaimed 423 talks with reggie and she allows him to come and go to his home planet on his own free will. He returns to Earth, with the rest of his team mates and Manny 'recaptures' him.

His relationships with his teammates are varied. With Jade, he didn't mind sharing his food with her if she asked (one time he was eating a bagel and she asked for half, and he shared) He treats her with respect unless she is teasing him which is rare. They hardly communicate with each other, but when they do it's Jade always asking for his opinion on how she looks whenever she puts on a new bow.

His relationship with Mimi was dysfunctional. Mimi the Audino was rather irritated by Reggie's ego, and often degraded him. His irritation to minor things has caused Mimi to easily taunt him, often for personal gain, amusement, or just for the heck of it to have him more "immune" to annoying things. He had some respect for Mimi at the time, since she has the move shadow ball, a move that his weakness can learn. Reggie is often confused that his Shadow Ball attack never affects her (He still hasn't learned that ghost moves don't work on normal type pokemon).

Reggie had a long and complicated crush on Mimi. That one night that he kissed her, gave him a "strange funny feeling" that he never talked to anyone about, and it never went away. At first he ignored it, but then it became difficult to ignore, and it showed. To avoid this feeling, he often would deny any feelings for her, which often led to their several infamous arguments. Often at times the two do share moments where they get along, such as watching Xatu Files together, singing karaoke, dancing, and reading the newspaper. Mimi began to feel left out when Jade and Kiki were acting like best friends and (unintentionally) left her out. Mimi sought comfort with Reggie. This close friendship led Reggie to do things that he never thought that he'd get away with. For one, he mated with Mimi twice in two separate events. After that Reggie subconsciously saw Mimi as his mate, but never said anything because of their long belligerent history. He could only settle for cuddling and kissing at times. He often endured the teasing from his team mates, friends, and neighbors about his not-so-well-hidden crush on Mimi. This ended when Reggie confessed his feelings for Mimi when they were alone on Psybemu.

His relationship with Kiki the shiny Trubbish is rare. He has a strong detest for her love of eating garbage, and doesn't understand why she has a huge infatuation with Wilson, and won't go up to say that she loves him. He's very sensitive to her stench that she emits, as it makes him physically ill. At times when they do interact it's very brief. She was the one that got him to eat bacon, and like it.

His relationship with Petal the Munna is endearing. Due to his love for children, Reggie allows himself to be affectionate around her. They both get along very well, and not because of the fact that they're both psychic type. He knows about her rough life when she was hatched and is very protective and watchful of her when others are near. He builds nests out of fleece blankets and towels so she could sleep in, and when she requests, he even reads books to her, and sings lullaby's to help her fall asleep. He acts like a father figure for little Petal.

Reggie has a few fears that he is reluctant to admit. He has a huge fear for dark type pokemon, but especially for Liepards. While banished in the Unova region, he was attacked by a pride of Liepards, and lost to them, getting severely injured in the process. When faced with one, he is paralyzed in fear. When he uses the attack Thunderbolt, he has a fear of opening his eyes when using the attack and loses its accuracy. He also has a fear of being truly alone and abandoned, and has separation anxiety. Another minor fear of his, is use of public restrooms, due to not wanting to have a repeat of what happened last time in that caused his exile. he also has severe cases of stage fright.

Reggie has several nicknames from his teammates or others. For short he is called "Reg" by his own teammates. Mimi often calls him "Loser" or "Spaceboy", and soon picks up on the embarrassing nickname "Megaphone" that 2048 dubbed him on a previous occasion. When Mimi doesn't feel like being rude to him, she'll call him "Captain."

Reggie's lack of knowledge about earth and pokemon types has lead him to several amusing/embarrassing situations, as he is very gullible. When he used to attack Mimi with shadow ball he didn't understand the type advantage/disadvantage/unaffected statuses with them, because he's lived with psychic types all his life. He also had a habit of trying out different attacks, and swapping them for others, so his movepool varied in every comic, however he will always keep shadow ball. Reggie used to be a huge flirt, and often tried to flirt with girls of his breeding group, even if he ended up heartbroken in the end, but he shrugged it off and kept trying. Mimi is also partly to blame here to keep him away from others, since she's afraid of losing him as a friend. For his future, Reggie wants to be a father, as soon as he overcomes his infertility, although he does see adoption as an option.

Currently, Reggie is living on Earth with his trainer Manny, and his mate Mimi. He often visits his home planet Psybemu to visit his parents. Mimi and him have not told anybody about their relationship status, as they are embarrassed to tell others that they both have admitted their feelings for one another, and still deny if anyone says that they are in a relationship. They are trying to have offspring of their own, but both are oblivious to the fact that they're not in the same breeding group. Reggie believes that his infertility is still to blame as Mimi has not laid any eggs.

*He avoids eating chocolate, even though he loves it. The reason for this is because chocolate is a sign of courtship on his planet, and after eating some of it, it makes him act out of character and he becomes extra affectionate and caring. He doesn't want his tender side to show in front of anyone, and when he does crave it, he'll eat it when everyone else is asleep.
